Funeral services for 50-year-old Matthew David Spurlin, of Elkton, will be private.
Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include:
His mother, Linda O. Spurlin, of Elkton;
Two brothers, Christopher (Angie) Spurlin, of Sanford, North Carolina, and Kyle (Annmarie) Spurlin of Eddyville;
And one sister, Contessa (Chris) Orr of Elkton.
He died at 6 AM Friday, June 23, 2023, at his residence with his loving family and friends by his side.
A native of Hopkinsville, he was born November 30, 1972, the son of Linda O. Spurlin of Elkton, and the late Michael David Spurlin. He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church.
