Officials with The Todd County Extension District Board announced Friday a ribbon cutting and open house have been planned for the new extension office coming to the community.
Planned for 3-6 PM Tuesday, June 27, it’s located at 240 Pond River Road in Elkton.
Light refreshments will be served, following short comments and celebration.
It’s long been in the works for the office to move to this location, which is at the corner of Hwy. 68/80. This new facility will host five office, a meeting room with a 150-person capacity, a separate conference room and a demonstration kitchen.

The extension staff includes Family & Consumer Science Agent Jill Harris, Ag & Natural Resources Agent Curt Judy, 4-H Youth Development Agent Lee Ann McCuiston, Staff Assistant Becky Chandler and Nutrition Assistant Amy Stooksbury.
