Funeral Services for 75-year-old Susan Upton Holmes of Cadiz, KY will be Thursday, June 29, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz.
Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville

Brother – Robert H. “Bob” (Meg) Upton, III, Franklin, TN
Susan Upton Holmes passed away at 8:25 AM, Sunday, June 25, 2023, at her home in Cadiz.
Born October 11, 1947, in Murray, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Robert Hale “R.H.” Upton, Jr. and the late June Smiley Upton.
She retired from Bank of Cadiz with 36 years of devoted service as a teller and customer service representative and formerly worked in administration for the Trigg County Schools Board of Education.
Susan was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Cadiz Post #74, and was a longtime, faithful member of Maple Grove Baptist Church, where she was very active in her Sunday school class and volunteered her time in meal ministry. She enjoyed researching her family genealogy, reading a good book, crocheting, and watching bull riding.
