Penny Lenora Hefley, age 64 of Hopkinsville, passed away on Sunday, June 25th at the Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville, Kentucky of natural causes.
She was born February 5, 1959, in San Diego, California the daughter of the late George Ernest and Ellen Stone Milhoan.
She was a member of Life Tabernacle Church in Hopkinsville. She loved her family, sewing, playing piano, growing flowers, and enjoying talking and praying with people.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Hefley of Hopkinsville; two daughters, Lenora Jefferson (James Jefferson III) of Hopkinsville and Elizabeth Hefley of Clarksville, Tennessee; two brothers, Gerald and Richard Milhoan both of Mulberry Grove, Illinois; a sister, Lisa Donaldson of Mulberry Grove, Illinois; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, July 8th at 11:00 at the Life Tabernacle Church, 1306 Blooming Grove Road, Hopkinsville with Rev. Chris Nicholson officiating.
Hats are encouraged to celebrate how much joy they brought her.
