Caldwell, Lyon, And Trigg Economic Projects To Benefit From State Funding

Governor Andy Beshear announced Thursday the first round of project funding that has been approved by the Kentucky Product Development Initiative.

The over $2.5 million in state support will help individual projects in Caldwell and Trigg counties and a collaborative effort in Lyon County with the help of resources in Caldwell, Crittenden, Livingston, and Trigg counties.

The Caldwell County project will entail an in-depth analysis of the topography at the Princeton Industrial Park.

The Trigg County project includes constructing a waste-water pump station at the Interstate 24 Business Park – on the eastern side of the city limits of Cadiz.

The collaborative Lyon County project will help conduct a flood plain analysis of the Pennyrile WestPark Industrial Park, an 800+ acre industrial mega-site near the Interstate 24 and Interstate 69 intersection.
