Lorena K. Stein, age 76, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2023, at St. Thomas West in Nashville, TN of natural causes. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, July 7, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home Friday, July 7, 2023, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Stein was born on February 13, 1947, in Los Angles, CA, the daughter of the late Frank J. and Dorothy Penn Williams. She was an event coordinator for Michaels and a member of First Baptist Church in Arizona. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Williams and James Williams.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Terry L. Stein of Hopkinsville; her son, Terry L. Stein, Jr. of Alexandria, VA; her daughter, Kristina J. Markley and her husband Craig of Newport News, VA; her brothers, Rogers Williams and his wife Trisha of California, Ray Williams of Washington; her grandchildren, Garik, Trevin, Rheanna, Gaven, and Thean.
