A shoplifting complaint at the Hopkinsville Goodwill store led to more serious charges for a Clarksville woman.
Police were called to the Fort Campbell Boulevard business Sunday afternoon and questioned 43-year-old Amanda Thompson. She gave police a false name and social security number with the report saying another officer was able to identify Thompson.
Once under arrest, police determined Thompson had two active warrants from Christian County and her Tennessee ID and bank cards were found in one of the purses she was attempting to take from the store.
Thompson was charged with giving police false identifying information. One of the warrants charges her with first-degree unlawful access to a computer stemming from an April incident where Hopkinsville Police said Thompson used a credit card belonging to someone else to make purchases at three businesses.
The second warrant alleges she failed to appear in Christian County District Court on charges of receiving stolen property and driving on a suspended license.
