Wendy Michele Lancaster Buckley, age 50, of Elkton, KY, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023, from natural causes. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home of Hopkinsville with burial to follow in Gray Cemetery. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home Sunday, July 9, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Buckley was born in Hopkinsville, KY, on June 23, 1973, the daughter of the late David Gene and Merriville Ann Barnette Lancaster. She had worked at Denso in Hopkinsville, KY. Wendy was a member of Salem Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Larry Byron Reed.
Survivors include her wife, Courtney Buckley of Elkton, KY; her son Tyler McFerrin of Ashland City, TN; her daughters, Haley McFerrin of Hopkinsville, KY, Gracie Buckley of Mt. Vernon, IN, Avery Buckley of Herndon, KY; her sisters, Kimberly Ann Vander-Weg and her husband Robert of Fruit Hill, KY, Tammy Jean Powell and her husband Keith; and one grandchild.
