Funeral services will be Monday, July 17 at 1:00 at Gamble Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Monday at noon at the funeral home.
Bertha was the daughter of the late Charles Smoot and Lou Bertha Buckner Smoot. She was born September 14, 1959, in Christian Co.
Bertha was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church and worked at U.S. Tobacco in production and was the Housekeeping Manager at La Quinta Inn.
She enjoyed shopping at Walmart and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her Siblings, Patricia Chambers, Rose M. Quarles, Marvine Buckner, Charles H. Smoot, and Willie L. Osborne.
Survivors include her children, Fred Smoot, Shequira Buckner, and Jerald Buckner; siblings, Roger Moore, Margaret Montgomery, Carolyn Welch, Ronnie Smoot, Deloris Smoot, Melvin Buckner, and Antonio Smoot; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
