Through the assistance of local law enforcement and local emergency management agencies, officials with Christian County Schools have a planned large-scale crisis and reunification drill that will be executed from noon through 2 PM today.
It will be taking place at Christian County High School, Christian County Middle School and the Christian County Board of Education.
The district and its leaders want to make it clear that — should one be traveling in this area during these times — there is no cause for concern, and there is no cause for emergency.
These drills remain critically important, in order to prepare the schools and the community — in the event should a massive real-life crisis or security incident occur.
The board office will remain closed during this stretch.
