Two women were charged with drug trafficking in Oak Grove after a traffic stop on Fort Campbell Boulevard Tuesday.
Oak Grove Police say they were called to a hotel for 29-year-old Emily Sharp of Herndon and 32-year-old Megan Garcia of Clarksville who were asked to leave the property.
The two women were then reportedly stopped on Fort Campbell Boulevard due to the driver Sharp not having a valid driver’s license.
During the stop, officers could reportedly see drug paraphernalia in their possession and after a search of the vehicle and their belongings ecstasy and heroin were found.
They were both arrested and charged with possession of date rape drug, and trafficking heroin. Sharp was also charged with operating on a suspended or revoked license and failure to maintain required insurance.
