Funeral services for 56-year-old Thomas Wayne Higgins, of Hopkinsville, will be 1 PM Monday at Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Hopkinsville.
Burial will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Crofton.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until the funeral hour.
Survivors include:
His parents, Terry Wayne Higgins of Pasadena, Maryland, and Evelyna Jones (Norman) Sellers of Hopkinsville;
His wife, Shannon Hindley, of Hopkinsville;
Four sons, Brandon Higgins, Austin Higgins, Aidan Higgins and Gary Messenger, all of Hopkinsville;
Daughter, Elizabeth Higgins (Elijah) Mata of Hopkinsville;
His brother, Randy (Marcia) Sellers, of Alabama;
Two sisters, Cindy (Richard) Baker and Pam (Paul) Adcock, both of Hopkinsville;
And five grandchildren.
He died at 10:46 p.m., Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.
A native of Hopkinsville, he was born on June 26, 1967.
He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Betty Higgins, and his maternal grandparents, Burt and Edna Jones.
He was a retired mechanic and truck driver.
