Funeral services for 74-year-old Alvin Ree Oliver, of Guthrie, will be 1 PM Wednesday at Stokes Chapel Church.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Tuesday at Latham Funeral Home, and from 11 AM until the funeral hour at the church.
Survivors include:
Wife of 51 years, Jacki Oliver, of Guthrie;
Son, Michael Ree “Junior” (Jacki) Oliver, of Guthrie;
Daughter, Shannon (Mark) Mayes, of Dawson Springs;
Brother, Henry Lewis “Boogie” (Wendy) Oliver, of Allensville;
Three sisters, Linda (Danny) Gosser of Upton, Cindy (Delbert) Strader, of Elkton, Norma (Bro. Gary) Chapman, also of Elkton;
And five grandchildren.

Born June 18, 1949, in Guthrie to late parents Henry Lewis and Onie Earline Markham Oliver, he was a retired from Print Excell in Oak Grove as a press operator, and also served as a farmer and concrete finisher.
He was a member of Stokes Chapel Church, where he served as deacon for more than 30 years. Oliver also loved fishing, family, the family farm, music and having fun with everyone.
