A Perry County man was charged with drug possession after a traffic stop on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville Sunday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 48-year-old Jeramie Heady, of Avawam, for making an improper U-turn and not having a registration plate. During the stop, police say they could see drugs in the vehicle and asked him to exit the vehicle. He was found to have a glass pipe on him with residue inside it and he told police he had used drugs earlier in the day.
He was arrested and charged with improper turning, improper display of registration plate, DUI, possession of synthetic drugs, and possession of meth.
