Graveside services for 69-year-old Donald Euel Sholar, Jr., of Hopkinsville, will be 11 AM Friday, August 18, at Riverside Cemetery.
Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home is in charge of these arrangements.
Survivors include,
His brother, David (Linda) Sholar, of Waukesha, Wisconsin;
Two sisters, Lisa (Terry) Boyer, of Crestwood, and Launa Hanson, of Goshen;
Two nephews and two nieces.
He died at 8:26 PM Friday, August 11, 2023, at his residence.
A native of Bardstown, he was born July 30, 1954, son of the late Donald Euel Sholar, Sr. and Joan Sparks Sholar.
He held a master’s degree in fine arts and a master’s degree in education. Professionally, he was an art teacher at Millbrooke Elementary.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial contributions in Sholar’s honor may be made to the Kentucky Alzheimer’s Association.
