The Christian County Cattleman’s Association partnered with the Lonestar Rodeo Company to bring the yearly rodeo to the Hopkinsville Fairgrounds.
Along with the rodeo came a group of girls who have competed all summer long for the chance to win the barrel racing series hosted by the Christian County Sheriff’s Posse. These girls were competing for many prizes, including a championship saddle in honor of the late Fred Garnett. Macie Hunt took the honors of winning the series, along with the saddle.
Hunt says this was a huge honor and she is thankful to compete alongside a group of great girls.
