A Hopkinsville Police officer was injured in a single-vehicle wreck on Eagle Way Friday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say 27-year-old Officer Christopher Pacheco was responding to an injury accident and lost control of his vehicle in a curve causing it to cross the median then hit an embankment.
He was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries.
The crash happened just before 6 pm near Cox Mill Road.
