Deputies have released the name of a man injured in a single-vehicle wreck on Eagle Way in Christian County Monday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say an SUV driven by 57-year-old Tommy Brooks was on Eagle Way approaching the intersection of Canton Pike when he lost control and hit a sign then went through a bean field causing the vehicle to overturn four times before coming to a stop.
Brooks was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health and then later flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Deputies say doctors believe some kind of medical issue may have caused the crash.
The crash happened just after 1 pm.
