Man Charged In Parkview Drive Thefts

A Hopkinsville man was charged in connection to several thefts of items from vehicles in the Parkview Drive area Thursday.

Hopkinsville Police say items that were taken out of vehicles were located after a search of 21-year-old Fredrick Reeves’s property such as wallets and purses along with stolen credit cards that were used by Reeves in town.

He was arrested and lodged in jail on charges of failure to appear, violation of conditions of release, three counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, attempted theft by unlawful taking, and four counts of theft by unlawful taking.

The investigation was handled by Detective Tyler Hancock.
