Brother James Glenn Farmer, age 75 of Crofton passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at his home of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Terry Hancock and McKinley Moore officiating and burial to follow in Fruithill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. The family has entrusted Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with handling the arrangements.
Mr. Farmer was born, on February 11, 1948, in Christian County, KY, to the late Ed and Dorothy B. Joiner Farmer. Glenn was a milkman for 25 years, worked for Little Debbie for 15 years, and most recently Pastor for 19 years at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Nancy Burnett and Francis Moore.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Linda Crunk Farmer of Crofton; his son, Eddie Farmer (Ladonna) of Gracey; his daughter, Cindy Carol Crawford (Allen) of Crofton; his brother, Tommy Farmer (Joyce) of Gracey; his sister, Connie Morgan (Bruce) of Mississippi; his grandchildren, Chase, Allie, Sami, Lacy, Nate, Rachel, James, Anna, Rebekah, and John; and his great-grandchildren, Kohen, Brynlee, and Kennedy.
