A native of Madison, Tennessee she was born February 21, 1972 the daughter of Thelma J. Powell Mollicone and the late Joseph Allen Caldwell. She worked as an Executive Assistant at the Meharry Medical College in Nashville.
In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents
In addition to his mother survivors include her brothers: Richard (Susan) Parsons of Greenville, Kentucky; and David (Karla) Parsons of Charleston, South Carolina.
