David Wayne “Buck” Cook, 65, of Crofton, died Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Ridgetop Cemetery. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Christian County, KY he was born June 10, 1958, the son of the late John Harvey Cook, Jr. and Opal Marie Sisk Bennett. He was retired from Pennyrile Vault Company.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Joe Cook.
Survivors include his son: Travis (Sandy) Cook of Morgantown, KY; his daughter: Shannon Johnson of Clay, KY; his stepson: Allen (Tracey) Groves of Crofton, KY; his stepdaughter: Jamie Tucker of Hopkinsville, KY; his brother: John O. (Linda Mart) Cook of Crofton, KY; and his sister in law: Maria Cook; 11 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
