The driver of a car that hit a bicyclist on Morningside Drive in Hopkinsville Monday night is still wanted by law enforcement Friday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say a car driven by 29-year-old Elonzo Simmons hit 36-year-old Jenna Gray who was on a bike, Simmons then fled on foot leaving three children who were also injured in the vehicle.
Gray and the three children were treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries. Police say Gray suffered severe head and arm injuries due to the crash.
Simmons has not been located. The crash happened just before 8 p.m.
