Graveside Services for 64-year-old Jackie Franklin of Cadiz, KY will be Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 1:30 PM at East End Cemetery in Cadiz.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 5, at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Goodwin Funeral Home, with a Masonic Rites service to begin at 1:00 p.m.

Jackie Franklin passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN
Born August 19, 1959, in Cadiz, Kentucky, he was the son of the late M.V. Franklin and the late Alice Aldridge Franklin.
He was a 1977 graduate of Trigg County High School and a graduate of Murray State University, where he studied archaeology, anthropology, and geology. He began his long and successful career with the United States Department of Agriculture at the age of 16 when he worked as a summer intern with the Soil Conservation Service, following in the footsteps of his father. He continued to serve multiple counties as a soil conservationist, completing his career with the U.S. Forest Service in LBL.
Jackie loved the Smoky Mountains, fly-fishing, arrowhead hunting, classic rock, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, antiques, spending time with friends, and continuing to learn more about earth science. He was a member of Cadiz Masonic Lodge #121.
