A man was charged with running from law enforcement after he was stopped on East 9th Street in Hopkinsville Monday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 19-year-old Kaedn Kavanagh who was riding a skateboard in the middle of the road and during the stop, he gave them two fake names as his own before fleeing on foot.
He was reportedly located hiding under a tractor-trailer and continued to resist arrest before being taken into custody. Police say he was found to have an active warrant out of Florida in connection to theft and stolen property.
He is charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police, disregarding traffic regulations by pedestrians, resisting arrest, giving officers false identifying information, and being a fugitive from another state.
