A Hopkinsville woman was charged Wednesday morning with robbery after she reportedly threatened store employees with a pair of scissors on August 25th.
Hopkinsville Police say 56-year-old Barbra Clark threatened to stab two Food Giant employees when they confronted her while she was leaving the store with stolen meat in her bag.
The employees reportedly grabbed the bag which contained her social security card and debit card and Clark fled the area in a vehicle leaving a wig, slippers, and a cell phone behind.
Clark was already in jail on a warrant for being a fugitive from another state when she was served the warrant charging her with first-degree robbery and tampering with physical evidence.
She was also served a warrant charging her with shoplifting after she reportedly took $60 and meat products from Food Lion the same day as the Food Giant robbery.
