A Hopkinsville man was charged with trafficking drugs after a search of his home in Hopkinsville Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they conducted a search of a home on Hancock Street and found 3.9 grams of suspected meth, four Suboxone strips, a Suboxone pill, 4.3 grams of suspected synthetic marijuana, 1.6 grams of marijuana, 2.1 grams of suspected THC wax, two unmarked pills, and a 9 mm handgun.
42-year-old James Ferrell reportedly claimed ownership of all the items and he was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), possession of marijuana, trafficking meth, trafficking opiates, trafficking synthetic drugs, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
