Agriculture Extension Agent Jay Stone says it's not only important to remember farm safety on the roadways, but also while working with grain on the farm.
Stone, who works with farmers in Hopkins County, says farm safety involves more than just farmers on roadways around Western Kentucky.
Stone says it is also important to think safety before climbing in a grain bin during this busy harvest season.
He says farm safety is a year-round focus on the farm. National Farm Safety and Health Week is September 17 through the 23rd.
