Cattle producers have two chances this fall to learn more about low-stress livestock handling.
Caldwell County Extension Agent Shane Bogle tells Your News Edge several partners are coming together to make it possible in Elizabethtown on October 31 at the Hardin County Extension Office.
Bogle says the conferences are not just going to focus on the physical infrastructure needed for low-stress handling.
He adds that beef specialists will also talk about flexible watering systems.
An expert will also be on hand to talk about the fabrication and installation of livestock facilities to work in a rotational grazing system.
The same program will be offered on November 1 at the Fayette County Extension Office in Lexington.
