For National Farm Safety Week, we celebrated with local companies focusing on how they encourage farm safety in the workplace. For our first stop, we visited with Nutrien Ag Solutions to talk with Brian Fitzsimmons about the ways they promote farm safety.
Fitzsimmons says one way they promote safety is by having tailgate meetings to remind each other of safety protocols.
Fitzsimmons also says they take pride in their equipment and make sure it is functioning properly before they go out in the field with it.
