A Herndon man and woman were charged Monday afternoon with theft after an investigation into checks that were used to make purchases in Christian County.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 37-year-old Timothy Roland and 37-year-old Courtney Roland were seen on security cameras writing checks from a closed account that was in someone else’s name on more than one occasion.
They were both located on Madisonville Road and were charged with theft by deception. Courtney Roland was also found to have two warrants for failure to appear.
