An Illinois man was injured in a single-vehicle wreck on Interstate 24 in Christian County Wednesday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say Alan Lyon was eastbound three miles west of the Kentucky 117 exit when his SUV hit the guardrail causing it to overturn and then come to rest in the middle of the roadway.
He was treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for injuries. The crash happened just before 4 p.m.
