Hopkinsville Police Department dispatcher Michael Graham graduated with honors from the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training Public Safety Dispatch Academy Friday.
Graham was one of 24 dispatchers from across the state who completed the mandatory four-week training that includes the role and responsibilities of the dispatcher, correct phone and radio procedures, handling emergency and non-emergency calls for service, emergency medical dispatch protocols and use of the state and national criminal databases.
Graham received the Trainee of Distinction Award for having the highest GPA in the class.
