A traffic stop on West 2nd Street in Hopkinsville due to disregarding a stop sign led to felony charges for a Hopkinsville man Tuesday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 24-year-old Shartavious Burse who gave them false identifying information and during the stop, he was found to have a fake $100 bill and a DUI suspended license.
He was arrested and charged with disregarding a stop sign, failure to produce an insurance card, giving the officer false identifying information, driving-DUI suspended license (third offense), and first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.
