Two well-known community servants were honored Saturday night for their contribution to the Christian County Democrat party.
Former Hopkinsville Mayor Wendell Lynch and his wife Bonnie were honored with the Ned Breathitt award Saturday night. The award was presented during the Ned Breathitt Dinner that was held at the Pioneers Complex in Hopkinsville.
The dinner is named in honor of former Governor Edward T. Ned Breathitt who was from Hopkinsville.
Featured speakers for the dinner were Democratic State Treasurer candidate Michael Bowman and Kentucky Democrat Party Chairman Colmon Eldridge.
