Clarence Edward Garrett, age 70, of Oak Grove, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023, at his home of natural causes. The family has chosen cremation with a celebration of life at a later date. The family has entrusted Maddux Fuqua Hinton Funeral Home with the care of their loved one.
Mr. Garrett was born January 15, 1953, in Nashville, TN, the son of the late JB and Ruby Garrett. Clarence worked in the roofing industry for over 30 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Shirley Garrett and Marie Woods
He is survived by his son, Scotty Garrett of Tennessee; his daughters, Sylvia Nichols (Jay) of Nashville, TN, and Tracey Garrett of Kentucky; his brother, JB Garrett, Jr. of Tennessee; his sisters, Melissa Vaughn, and Rose Garrett, and Faye Garrett all of Tennessee; and his five grandchildren.
