Funeral Services for 75-year-old Neil Wright of Bumpus Mills, Tennessee will be on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Goodwin Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Crow Cemetery in Bumpus Mills
Visitation will be at Goodwin Funeral Home on Monday, October 16, after 4:00 PM

Wife of 53 years – Annette Wallace Wright, Bumpus Mills
Son – Brian (Leslee) Wright, Bumpus Mills
Daughter – Amy (Brandon) Slone, Cadiz
Grandchildren – Four grandchildren- Lakyn Slone, Katelyn Slone (C.J.) Ahart, Gracie Wright, and Aubree Wright
Sister – Diane Wright, Franklin, Tenn.
Neil F. Wright passed away at 7:08 AM, Saturday, October 14, 2023, at his home in Bumpus Mills.
Born November 10, 1947, in Cadiz, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Robert Franklin Wright and the late Ruth Griffin Wright.
A lifelong hard-working farmer, he was well-known and well-respected in the farming communities of both Stewart County, Tennessee, and just over the state line in Trigg County. Neil was a 1965 graduate of Trigg County High School and an active member of Gracey West Union Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. A gifted musician, he enjoyed playing the banjo for many years in bluegrass and gospel groups. He was a proud Granddaddy and a devoted husband and father.
