It’s said you will laugh your way through Campanile Production’s performance of ‘Young Frankenstein,’ which runs this week.
The show officially starts Thursday at Hopkinsville’s Alhambra Theatre and features a wide variety of local people showcasing their acting chops.
Dr. Jeff Riggs tells Your News Edge the show is an adult, comedy musical.
Turner Vaughn, who plays Dr. Frederick Frankenstein, serves as the main character for the production.
Matthew Couch plays Dr. Frankenstein’s hunched-back servant Igor.
Dr. Riggs says you can enjoy some of the same jokes made in the 1974 classic movie.
Tickets are available here. There will be a final dress rehearsal on Wednesday night at 7:00, which also serves as a “pay what you can” night. The other shows will take place Thursday to Saturday at 7:00 p.m. or Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
The Alhambra Theatre is located at 507 South Main Street in Hopkinsville.
