Hopkinsville City Council is continuing to look at the zoning within the city limits.
Tuesday night, CDS Director, Tom Britton asked Council members to approve rezoning a portion of the Mosley property on Princeton Road.
click to download audioMembers approved creating an ordinance. They also approved the second reading of three ordinances rezoning portions of Canton Pike, Wilshire Circle, and Devonshire Drive. In other business, City Council approved $3,575 in grant funding for Christina and Jason Hale after they invested $161,800 into 115 and 117 East 9th Street. Council members approved $150,000 in grant funding for Phoenix Property Group, who are investing $2,337,500 into 1002 South Virginia Street.
Meanwhile, Chief Financial Officer Melissa Clayton reports payroll tax collections continue to be above budget.
