Bicycle Pursuit Ends In Meth Charges

A man was charged after he led law enforcement on a pursuit in the area of Coleman Street in Hopkinsville Wednesday morning.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they attempted to stop 38-year-old Deanton Greenwade for active warrants and he fled on his bicycle before coming to a stop on Walnut Street. Meth and a meth pipe were reportedly located on him and around his bike. He was found to have active warrants for failure to appear.

He was arrested and charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest, possession of meth, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
