The Trigg County High School Marching Band will take the field for competition for the final time this fall at the semifinals of the state band contest on Saturday.

Trigg County will compete in the Class 2A division with 11 other schools. Classes are determined based on the size of the band and not student enrollment like athletics.

Band Director Andrew Mroch said this year’s show has a weather theme that incorporates popular rain songs.
