Trigg County will host a meeting to answer questions and discuss possible regulations concerning the possibility of solar purchasing land in the county.
Trigg County Judge Executive Stan Humphries says he is inviting any farmer or landowner in the county to the meeting to participate and provide input on possible legislation in the county.
Humphries says one thing he wants to discuss is the possible need for further local regulations in addition to what the state has passed.
He adds some farmers are already being contacted by solar companies.
The meeting begins at 6:00 at the Trigg County Recreation Complex Lexie Bush Convention Center.
