Two police officers and seven firefighters were presented the American Heart Association hero award at the Oak Grove City Council meeting Tuesday night.
Oak Grove Fire Chief Bill Johnson says the awards came as a result of several calls with people that were revived by Oak Grove Firefighters Miranda Wagner, Albert Cabel, Shawn Dubois, Jay Lyter, William Laux, Alexander Laux, and Oren Reece.
Oak Grove Police Lt. Richard McCormick says two officers Cameron DeArmond and Mike Platero were also recognized with the same award.
The awards were presented by Oak Grove Fire Department Chief Bill Johnson.
