Trigg Eighth-Grade Class Hosting Veterans Breakfast Friday

A Veterans Day Breakfast, hosted by the eighth-grade class at Trigg County Middle School, will take place on Friday morning.

According to Teacher Kim Mroch, who is one of the organizers, this breakfast has become a yearly tradition in recent times.

Pennyroyal Regional Veterans Center will be honored with a special presentation at this event, thanks to the funds raised through fundraising efforts and the support of organizations such as the Back2Back Foundation.

Funds raised from a Halloween dance held a few weeks ago will be presented. So far, the eighth-grade team has presented a total of over $10,000 to the center. Additionally, middle school students have been conducting interviews with Trigg County veterans.

The breakfast is scheduled for Friday morning at 8:30 AM. Veterans who have previously registered can attend the event for free, while community members and local businesses cover the cost of table sponsorships.
