Police Ask For Help Locating Cadiz Hit-And-Run Vehicle

Law enforcement is asking for help finding a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run incident in downtown Cadiz on Thursday night.

According to Cadiz Police Department’s Duncan Wiggins, the incident involved a GMC pickup truck traveling eastbound. The vehicle veered off the road and collided with a power pole near the intersection of Humphries Drive.

The collision caused a power outage for approximately 400 Pennyrile Electric customers, including Trigg County Public Schools, while crews worked to install a new power pole. The outage persisted through 5:30 a.m. Friday.
