Linda Kay Maness, age 60, of Hopkinsville, KY originally of Pikeville, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023, at her home of natural causes. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow at Greenhill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 9:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Maness was born on June 23, 1963, in Pikeville, KY, the daughter of the late Sidney Wayne and Peggy Smith Casey. She had a fulfilling career as a CNA for Healthcare in Pikeville, KY. Linda was a member of the Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Sidney Casey Jr, Fletcher Casey, and Julius Casey; her sister, Diane Sawyer; and her grandson, Trevor Maness.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Edward Jack Maness, II, of Hopkinsville, KY; her son, Edward Maness, III, of Hopkinsville, KY; her daughters, Sharon Kay Dewitt of Hopkinsville, KY, Patricia Foltz (Fred) of Hopkinsville, KY; her brothers, Willard Casey of Pikeville, KY, Earl Ray Casey of Pikeville, KY, Johnny Casey of Virginia, and Bennie Casey of Virginia; her sister, Dora Cool of Hopkinsville, KY; her six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
