A wreck on Pennyrile Parkway in Christian County sent two women to the hospital Friday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a southbound car driven by Melinda Lodge was attempting to change lanes and swerve to miss another vehicle, causing the car to collide with the guardrail.
The car then crossed the southbound lanes and entered the median and overturned several times before coming to a stop.
Lodge and her passenger Melissa Cooper were treated and transported by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health with Cooper flown then to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.
The crash happened two miles south of the Lovers Lane exit just before 9 a.m.
