Sharon Good Henderson, age 71, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023, at Bedrock Healthcare at Spring Meadows in Clarksville, TN of natural causes. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery West. Visitation will be at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home on Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Friday, December 1, 2023 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Mrs. Henderson was born on May 5, 1952, in Hopkinsville, KY, the daughter of the late James Irvin and Helen Simpson Good. Sharon was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “Tommy” Mitchell Henderson; and her brothers, Jimmy Good and Malcolm Good.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Messmer (David) of Clarksville, TN; her sisters, Shirley Combs (Browder) of Hopkinsville, KY, Pam Jones of Russellville, KY, Joy Rogers (Lynn) of Hopkinsville, KY, Wanda Wheeler of Hopkinsville, KY, Paula McGar of Hopkinsville, KY; her sister-in-law, Karen Good of Hopkinsville; her three grandchildren; and her five great-grandchildren.
