A Hopkinsville man was charged with DUI after a wreck on Russellville Road in Christian County Friday morning.
Christian County Sheriff’s Deputy Danny Collings says he responded to a wreck just after 6 a.m. involving 43-year-old Jason Holleman who appeared to be under the influence.
Holleman reportedly told law enforcement he had ingested meth 12 hours before the crash and he was found to have a loaded handgun and marijuana in his possession.
Collings says Holleman stated he was going to be on the news and threatened the deputy with bodily harm before he became combative at the jail.
Holleman was arrested and charged with failure to maintain required insurance, third-degree terroristic threatening, DUI, possession of marijuana, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
