Funeral services for 88 year old Preston Rodes Freeland of Cadiz will be Friday, December 8, 2023, at 10:00 am at King’s Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Todd officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY with military honors. Visitation will be from 8:30 – 10:00 on Friday, December 8, 2023, at King’s Funeral Home.

Preston Rodes Freeland was born in Cross Plains, TN on October 25, 1935, to Forrest Freeland and Florence May Tate Dodd. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Freeland.
He passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Tri Star Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, TN.
Mr. Freeland was a US Air Force Veteran serving in the Korean War, a Retired Field Representative for Massey Ferguson, and an avid golfer, fisherman, and hunter.
